Biden Endorses a Public Option: Americans Shouldn’t ‘Go to Bed’ Worrying Health Care Incident Will Mean Losing ‘Everything’

‘Health care is about peace of mind’

EXCERPT:

BIDEN: “We got to move from making health care a privilege to a right. Health care should be a right. To give everyone, everyone the peace of mind they need. Health care is about peace of mind. How many people go to bed at night staring at the ceiling thinking, my God, if something happens to me, we're going to lose everything. My family will lose everything. Folks, I believe whether or not your health care is covered through your employer, whether it's covered on your own or not at all, everyone should have a choice to buy into a public option health care plan like Medicare. Every single person. (Applause)”
