Jason Whitlock: If I Ran a Sports Franchise, Only My Team, Not My Athletes Would Be Involved with Social Media

‘They are addicted to social media’

RUSH EXCERPT:

WHITLOCK: “I come back to the same people of the time. It's Silicon Valley, it's the tech companies, its social media. They flicked all these athletes on their social media brand and they are more caught up in their social media brand than their brand as great athletes. Our brains have been hacked and all these athletes, many of them, not Tiger Woods, but many of them. A football, basketball, other sports, they are addicted to their cell phones, they are addicted to social media, they want to be popular there and to the way to be popular there is to be polarizing and divisive.”
