Stacey Abrams: Brian Kemp ‘Is the Architect of Voter Suppression,’ They Stole the Election
‘Concession means to say something is right’
EXCERPT:
ABRAMS: “We transformed the electorate because everyone knows they were seen and they were purged, and they showed up. But I'm going to tell you a little secret. I am not the governor of Georgia. Remember, I told you about my opponents. You see, not only was the secretary of state the architect of voter suppression, because we could work as hard as we want, we could fight right, but if you're fighting against a system that is designed to oppress you, sometimes you have to fight a little bit longer than you planned. So on November 6 I said from the podium that we were not going to declare anything until every vote was counted, and on November 16 I decided to acknowledge the state for the election, but I refused to concede.”
