Abrams tweeted yesterday, '20 years ago I never thought I’d be ready to run for POTUS before 2028, but life comes at you fast. As I shared in a Q&A with Yamiche at South by Southwest, now 2020 is definitely on the table.' For Beto it comes slowly. He needs to walk through it all and really think, but, Yamiche, she discussed her future plans earlier in the day with you."

ALCINDOR:" You said in your book, if you don’t run for president yet, 2028 will by your year. That's actually in the book."
ABRAMS: "Yes. That is — the year in the spreadsheet is 2028."
ALCINDOR: "That you would run for president?"
ABRAMS: "Yes. (...) I don't think these jobs are stepping stones. I think you use them as opportunities to learn, but more importantly, opportunities to serve. And in this spreadsheet, with all the jobs I wanted to do, 2028 would be the earliest I would be ready to stand for president because I would have done the work that I thought necessary to be effective in that job."
