GEIST: "How can Democrats give on the wall when Nancy Pelosi has laid down the marker that a wall is, quote, immoral? Do you agree with her that a wall is immoral?"
CLYBURN: "She was talking about a concrete edifice. I’ve talked to her about a smart wall and about barriers in appropriate places. That's not what she's talking about. She said that was immoral and I agree with that. We’ve seen the Great Wall of China, we've seen the Jericho walls, we've seen the Berlin wall. These things have all been immoral in our history. And that's what she's talking about. But smart walls, barriers that are welcoming, these things I think Nancy would agree to."
