Michael Moore Calls for States to Give up Their Electoral Votes in Favor of Popular Vote

‘A number of states have passed a law now saying that our state’s electors go to whoever wins the popular vote across the whole country, and that’s a great idea’

EXCERPT:

BEHAR: "But the Electoral College will never get gone because they --" [crosstalk]
MOORE: "No, they won't be gone by the next election."
BEHAR: "-- the would need an amendment to get rid of it, wouldn’t they?"
MOORE: "Yes. But there’s also a thing called the national popular vote, where a number of states have passed a law now saying that our state’s electors go to whoever wins the popular vote across the whole country, and that’s a great idea. (Applause) So if you’re in one of those states, get behind that law."
