Ferguson Activist Bassem Masri’s iPhone Stolen as He Filmed Livestream (Mediaite)

Perhaps the best-known and most controversial livestreamer to emerge from Ferguson, Mo., has been Bassem Masri.

His livestream during Monday’s protest was cut short, however, when an unidentified man grabbed the iPhone out of Masri’s hands and ran off with it.

As the thief runs away with the smartphone, he can be heard gleefully telling a companion that it’s an iPhone 6. Masri took to Twitter to suggest the robbery was a police “crash dummie.”
