Former Secretary of State John Kerry said that he would caution Democrats against impeaching President Trump during an interview with CNN at the Swiss Economic Forum last week.

CNN’s Hannah Wise asked Kerry if Democrats would move to impeach Trump, should they retake the House in 2018.

“I would caution my own party about leaping at impeachment,” Kerry said. “I think that what we need to look at is governing and making good things happen for our country. We don’t even know what, if anything, the special counsel will find or where we’ll be.”
