HOSTIN: "I hope we’re not playing campaign policy politics. I think that once you are in office, fine, you have made some promises. But I think once you’re surrounded by your advisers who are advising you against this sort of campaign policy rhetoric, you have to listen. It was not only the United States, but it was just our allies also agreed that this was the best way forward in terms of diplomacy. And now you have defense — you have Mattis who is saying, 'Yes.
