Karl Rove: There Is No Chance of a Federal Assault Weapons Ban

ROVE: "I think it’s unlikely at the federal level that there’s no chance of an assault weapons ban. Last time this came up in 2004, it was defeated in the Senate by a vote I think of 90-8. There was overwhelming lack of enthusiasm. Remember, columbine happened midway through the experiment with an assault weapons ban."
