RUSH EXCERPT:

MacDONALD: "I mean, Eric I think he wanted to talk about whether the coach had a gun, that's what the student wanted to bring up if that was a good idea. CNN, Eric saying in a statement, CNN did not provide script questions for anyone in last nights town hall nor have we ever. We welcome Colton and his father to join us to discuss his views on school safety. What's your take on this?"
SCHIFFER: "You know, I mean, the question is what does script mean and I think that if you really look at authenticity and truth, I mean the words were changed and so I don't think that there's any place for any media organization to be doing that. I think it raises a lot of questions. There are many people, many patriotic Americans that look at this and are outraged because what they see is they see some, again, media organization, mainstream media organization that may be trying to control speech and that's not the image that CNN wants and that has outraged a lot of people, a lot of patriotic Americans are upset and they just don't want to be controlled. They don't want to be managed. They don't want their message to be managed and certainly, look this is one of the kids that was affected by this. This should have been an opportunity for him to speak and to really be open. That's a town hall and I think that it's too produced and certainly you want to use his actual words. You certainly don't want to change his words so I think CNN has probably learned a big lesson from this."
