Eric Schiffer: Donald Trump’s Businessman Policies Make Businesses Able to Compete which Allows the Country to Compete
RUSH EXCERPT:
MACDONALD: "Obama added 80,000 pages to the federal register and a hundred thousand pages of regulation in his final year. I mean that's record numbers. With trump as a businessman able to see Washington's problems better than politicians?"
SCHIFFER: "Well, I mean there's no question. I think that politicians have gotten into this loop where they want to spend, they want to add the government, they want to continue to make government the master of the people and what Donald Trump and being a businessman has done is he said no, that's not going to happen. We're going to blow up regulation we're going to cut it down, make businesses actually be able to compete which allows the country to compete. Having America be first is what founded this country, okay? And so politicians, the traditional politician, they've gotten sucked into the lobbyists and the normal way of thinking. They've stopped thinking about the country. Donald Trump has set us in the right direction I think. The policies, the anti- regulation, the tax cuts hopefully there's going to be infrastructure investment which I think will only benefit those that are in construction, that want to make more money. I'm hoping to see that. I see great things ahead for the economy and it's largely because of that philosophy."
