McCormack on Dems’ Claims About Tax Cuts: ‘When You Say the Sky Is Going to Fall and It Doesn’t That’s a Problem’
‘I think people will begin to feel it in February’
EXCERPT:
MCCORMACK: "I think people will begin to feel it in February. The tax withholding tables will change. So all these polls right now that have seen the slight tick in a positive direction, those have only accounted for these, you know, news headlines basically, things like Apple, J.P. Morgan, that I think have helped Republicans over the last several weeks. I think the big problem for Democrats was that they had this talking point that everyone’s taxes were going to go up, when in reality 80 percent of the American people are going to have a tax cut. And so, when you say the sky is going to fall and it doesn’t that’s a problem."
