Sheriff Joe Arpaio, now running for Senate, is indeed standing by his years-long promotion of the insane conspiracy theory about Barack Obama‘s birth certificate.

Chris Cuomo confronted Arpaio tonight about his pardon and his profiling of Latinos, but he also brought up the birtherism.

He reminded Arpaio that he was “part of a campaign to delegitimize the President of the United States,” and Arpaio immediately went off, claiming “fake documents.”
