Scaramucci: I Didn’t Say I Would Not Consider Going Back to the W.H
EXCERPT:
KILMEADE: "Is there something that you did that would prevent you from going back to the White House? Because I know you want to serve the country. You looked at two different -- two or three different positions and if you’re in a conversation and he trusts you, why wouldn’t you consider going back? Or why wouldn't they consider bringing you back."
SCARAMUCCI: "No, no, hold one second. I didn’t say I wouldn’t consider. I’m an American patriot. I'd do anything the president were asking me to do. But I am not the presumptuous guy where I'd have ever said to anybody, oh, the president wants me back in the White House. It’s a bunch of nonsense. You know what happens, you’re an effective surrogate for the president, you're effective advocate, someone’s trying to hit you and trying to create a bridge between you and a divide between you and the president and his family. That’s not going to happen with me."
