Conway: ‘No Democrat Could See the Wisdom of Passing a Middle Class Tax Cut for Their Constituents’

‘They don’t want to reduce the corporate rate to help our job creators to reinvest in their own businesses’

EXCERPT:

CONWAY: "But I have to say, it was a tale of two Washingtons. On the one hand you had Republicans on a party line vote. Unfortunately, no Democrat could see the wisdom of passing a middle class tax cut for their constituents. They don’t want to reduce the corporate rate to stimulate growth and to help our job creators to reinvest in their own businesses. They don’t want to repatriate the trillions of dollars of wealth that are parked legally overseas. They don't want to simplify the code so we stop spending billions of dollars and billions of hours every single year just to comply with that sucker of a code. So the Republicans on the one hand doing massive tax cut legislation in a generation, and the Democrats refusing to give tax cut relief to middle class families."
