On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel had some kind words for President Trump for his visit to Las Vegas in the wake of the massacre.

“Once again, we send our love to Las Vegas where President Trump visited today,” Kimmel began, “and you know what? He was very well-behaved!”

Kimmel had ratcheted up his attacks on the president in recent months, from calling him racist to saying that he “needs to go,” but he gave the president credit where credit was due.

“He stuck to his script, he thanked the first responders, he didn’t brag about his hotel there,” Kimmel continued. “He did good today! He really did.”
