Judge Nap: ‘When Natural Disaster Strikes, We All Become Socialists ... Want Gov’t to Take Care of Us’

‘The government’s going to borrow money, and who’s going to pay it back?’

EXCERPT:

VARNEY: "Look, it’s a natural disaster. It’s got nothing to do with politics. It strikes from the outside, is to speak. Surely, we need an organization, namely government, to organize our response and to rescue citizens. What's wrong with that?"
NAPOLITANO: “So, when natural disaster strikes, we all become socialists.”
VARNEY: "No. Oh, come on.”
NAPOLITANO: “We want the government to take care of us and for the future to pay the bill. The government’s going to borrow money, and who’s going to pay it back? Your wonderful grandchildren, some of whom I’ve met, are going to pay higher taxes when they're of taxpaying age because of the borrowing that occurred today.”
