Has impeachment fever returned to Washington, D.C.?

Last Friday, almost out of nowhere, the White House warned that impeachment proceedings may soon be initiated against President Obama. When a reporter replied that Speaker Boehner had earlier foreclosed on the possibility of impeaching the president, Barack Obama's press secretary, Josh Earnest, said reporters shouldn't believe Boehner. Within hours of that press conference, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued a fund-raising appeal, quoting Earnest's impeachment warnings. The DCCC later reported the effort brought in $2.1 million

On Tuesday, Boehner went further, saying the only people talking about impeaching the president were Democrats.

Since then, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.), Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Calif.), Rep. Donald Payne (D-N.J.), Rep. Hakeen Jeffries (D-N.Y.) all sounded the impeachment alarm.

So we took all of the above and turned it into a montage.

    Enjoy.
