Carl Higbie: ‘Absolutely’ Obama Is to Blame for the ‘Dire Straits’ the Military Is In

BREAM: "What do you make of that assessments, that this is to blame on the past administration?"
HIGBIE: "Yeah, absolutely. I mean, we had some question and also what happened with the military, we lost a large number of troops, and good troops, because quite frankly we lost the political -- political climate to fight this war. And you know, they can, you know, say all that what with the sequestration, but the fact is, it was a morale issue. When -- when you have the United States military doing things like nation-building, the U.S. military’s job is to put bullets in bad guys, not nation build. And when you put them with that task, they lose morale, they lose motivation. And when you have guys like myself or a corps marshal for prisoner abuse, against a known terrorist who is then sentenced to death after -- you lose morale, guys loose faith in their chain of command. So absolutely, we're in dire straits President Trump is the only guy I think that can get back on track."
