Campos-Duffy: Dems Need to Stop and Think How Their Strategy of Delegitimizing Trump Contributed to Shooting

‘Because it was a Bernie Sanders supporter, it is now a conversation about everyone coming together, everyone lowering the rhetoric’

EXCERPT:

CAMPOS-DUFFY: "Listen, in this last election, people were whispering to me, 'I voted for Trump.' They were afraid to say they voted for Donald Trump. They were afraid to put signs in front of their home. There’s a shaming going on about Trump voters. Hillary called them deplorable, called them racist and Islamophobic for having a different view on the role of the federal government. This has to stop. We can’t just hold hands at a baseball game and think it’s all going to be okay. We actually have to force both sides. And frankly, a lot of the vitriol is coming from the left and the intensity. They need to be really reflective and introspective on what they are doing."
