KRAUTHAMMER: “I agree with you entirely, which is why I think they're both diminished. And the attempt of the Democrats to turn Comey into some secular saint is not only hypocritical, it is laughable. He admitted his own cowardliness. He should’ve stood up and said, 'Mr. President, we cannot do this,' or 'Mr. President, I will resign,' or 'Mr. President, I have to go upstairs to my boss, to the attorney general, or to Congress and tell them what is going on here, because it should not be. He should have done all of that, he did not, and he even told us, as I said earlier, that with Loretta Lynch, he folded like a cheap suit as well. So it is not a paragon of integrity, but that does not matter because he is not president. The President is, and he needs to know what is right and what is wrong.”
