Dan Greenhaus has been BTIG's chief global strategist since June 2011. He is responsible for analyzing global economic and market trends and formulating the firm's investment strategy.
Greenhaus has received recognition for his correct calls in a number of areas. He is widely quoted in financial publications and is a sought-after speaker at financial conferences as well as being an exclusive contributor to CNBC.
Prior to joining BTIG, Greenhaus was employed by Miller Tabak in the firm's market strategy group. He has also work for CSFB and Bear Stearns. Greenhaus graduated from the University of Buffalo, and received a master's in finance and investments from Baruch College.
He is a member of both the National Association for Business Economics and the New York Society of Security Analysts and has completed two levels of the CFA examination.
