Biography
Christine Mikolajuk is a Managing Director in the Global Markets division of State Street Bank & Trust – one of thirty Global Systemically Important Banks (“G-SIBs”)
In this capacity, she runs strategy for the bank’s trading platforms with a focus on foreign exchange trading and technology. She also runs her business line’s response to the Federal Reserve’s “Living Will” requirements and has significant expertise in adapting businesses to emerging financial regulation, such as the Dodd Frank Act.
Prior to joining State Street, Christine spent five years at the Boston Consulting Group, consulting for clients in the UK, Germany, South Africa and the United States in BCG’s London, Miami and Washington D.C offices. As a strategy consultant, she worked closely with senior executives from across industries to improve operational and financial performance, including in energy, mining, media and finance.
Christine also publishes articles on topics such as business ethics and international relations, with op-eds for the New York Observer, Real Clear World and the Daily Caller (under pseudonym). She is a member of Chatham House, the Royal Institute on Foreign Affairs and the Project for the Study of the 21stcentury, a London-based think tank.
Christine holds an A.B. from Harvard University in Government (political science) and an Masters from the University of Oxford in American Studies. She is a native speaker of French and Polish and is proficient in Spanish. She is an avid skier and holds an Emergency Medical Technician (“EMT”) license. She lives in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
