Congressman

Max Rose (born November 28, 1986) is an American Democratic politician and the Congressman-elect representing New York’s 11th congressional district, which includes all of New York City’s borough of Staten Island and parts of southern Brooklyn. He defeated the incumbent Republican, Dan Donovan, in the 2018 midterm elections.

Rose served in the US Army as a platoon leader in Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013, where he was wounded. For his service he was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
