Colin Zachary Allred (born April 15, 1983) is an American politician, attorney and former professional football player. He will be the Democratic Congressman-elect for the United States House of Representatives in Texas’s 32nd congressional district. Allred is an attorney and former American football linebacker who played for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. Allred left football to pursue a degree in law, receiving his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley followed by positions in both the Obama White House and the U.S. Attorney’s office
