Erik Sandoval joined the Local 6 News team as a reporter in May 2013 and is excited to be part of the team.

He’s a respected multi-media journalist, who has covered entertainment, technology, national and local news for stations in major markets, including Seattle, Dallas and Palm Springs.

Most recently, Erik crafted stories about innovations in technology in Southern California as Technology Reporter for Gulf California Broadcasting. In addition to reporting, he also managed the online news content and social media promotions and online reporting team for five local television affiliates and two radio stations.

In Palm Springs, Erik was well known for his on-air entertainment coverage, where he produced and hosted the ‘red carpet arrivals’ for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammys as well as the star-studded Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Erik is looking forward to experiencing all Central Florida has to offer and tell the stories that are important to you.
