I’m a national politics reporter for NBC News, covering breaking news and writing feature stories on everything from the big trends to the little quirks that help explain our unprecedented political moment.
I covered Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden and the Democratic primaries in 2020 for NBC News. Before that, I worked for National Journal, writing magazine cover stories that blended reporting and analysis, and I have also been published in outlets like The Atlantic, The Washington Post and Salon. I studied international relations at Brown University before moving to Washington, D.C., after graduation in 2008.
