PERSON: Jaye Watson

Jaye Watson has been a general assignment reporter with the station since 1999. A graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Watson is a Maryland native who still misses steamed crabs and a beach that was only 15 minutes away.

Watson has won several Emmy awards, and two regional Edward R. Murrow awards. In the spirit of full disclosure, she won most of those awards with her husband, 11 Alive's Chief Photojournalist, Kenny Hamilton.

Watson loves Atlanta, the North Georgia Mountains, and the Georgia Coast (although she complains during the 4 1/2 hour drive that it's entirely too far). She lives in Buckhead with her husband and her son Jude and daughter Iris.
