Biography
CEO and Founder of Nicholas Wealth Management, an investment and financial planning firm in Atlanta, Georgia. David has been serving clients as a financial advisor for over 17 years.
He earned a master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Georgia and a business administration degree in finance with a concentration in economics from Kennesaw State. He also holds a certificate in adaptive leadership from Georgia State University. He passed the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 exams and holds Georgia, Alabama, and Texas insurance licenses.
David was selected as one of 25 individuals in the Atlanta area to be a member of the Buckhead Coalition’s Diplomatic Leadership Corps, a one-time honor given in recognition of the coalition’s 25th anniversary. Atlanta magazine named David Nicholas, one of Atlanta’s 500 most powerful leaders in December of 2020, 2021 and 2022.
David is the host of “Retire Ready” TV which airs on CBS Sunday mornings at 11:30 AM and “Retire Ready” on 95.5 FM WSB Saturdays at 6 PM. David also hosts the “Retire Ready” podcast which can be heard on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify & more!
David’s opinions and commentaries have been featured frequently on Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, and Fox News.
David and his family attend Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. He also loves giving back to the local community by speaking on leadership, government, and public policy at schools in the Atlanta area.
