Nadeam Elshami Is Nancy Pelosi’s former Chief of Staff. Elshami started on Capitol Hill in the Senate mailroom. Prior to joining then-Speaker Pelosi’s staff in 2007, Elshami held senior communications positions in the offices of Assistant Senate Democratic Leader Richard Durbin (D-IL), Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL).
