Biography
Mr. David E. Morey is the Founder of DMG Inc., and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Morey serves as Managing Partner of Core Strategy Group. Mr. Morey has assisted numerous foreign leaders and governments with election strategy, including Kim Dae Jung, Boris Yeltsin, and Corazon Aquino. He was an Advisor to the Government of Korea during its financial crisis and recovery. In the course of corporate work, Mr. Morey has advised senior officers in a number of Fortune 100 entities. He has developed international business, marketing and communications strategy for Arnold & Porter, Avant!, Bancomer, Verizon, The Coca-Cola Company, Mars, Cytogen, J.E. Seagram, KPMG, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Multinational Strategies, News Corp., Nike, Omnium Communications, Procter & Gamble, Disney, Reebok, APT, Inc., Visa, Ernst and Young, Allied Domecq, Hughes Space and Communications, CBIZ, Newbridge Capital, Cablevision, HBH Company, Texas Pacific Group, Wendy’s International and a range of venture capital projects. He serves as Vice Chairman of Zyman Group, LLC. Mr. Morey served as the Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Task Force on Public Diplomacy. Mr. Morey serves on a number of corporate and public sector boards and is Chairman of Drinks That Work, Inc., and Vice Chairman of the Fund For Peace. He serves as Trustee at Fund for Peace. He served as Member of Strategic Advisory Board of Wizzard Software Corp. He served as Strategic Advisory Board Member at FAB Universal Corporation. In addition, Mr. Morey served on the Defense Science Board’s Task Force on U.S. Strategic Communications and National Security. He is the award-winning co-author of The Underdog Advantage: Using the Power of Insurgent Strategy to Put Your Business on Top (McGraw Hill). Mr. Morey serves as an Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs with Columbia University. He attended the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and did his graduate work at the Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs in addition to receiving a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics. He was a Paul P. Harris scholar at the London School of Economics.
