Biography
Richard Rennard is the President of Acrylic Monomers, Americas at Arkema, a global chemical company headquartered in France. In this role, he oversees the company’s acrylic monomer operations across North and South America.
Prior to his current position, Rennard served as Vice President of Procurement at Arkema, where he was responsible for the company’s procurement strategies and operations.
Rennard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
In 2017, during Hurricane Harvey, Arkema’s Crosby, Texas plant experienced significant flooding, leading to the loss of power and the inability to refrigerate organic peroxides, resulting in fires and explosions. Rennard addressed the situation publicly, stating that the company did not anticipate having six feet of water inundate the plant.
