Have been blessed to enjoy my forty plus years of broadcasting. Experienced just about everything you could in TV and Radio except engineering. Maybe they thought I would electrocute myself. From sports announcing and country music in Ventura, CA to AOR and adult contemporary music in the #1 radio market in the country, Los Angeles, CA.

Sandwiched in between was a two year stint serving my country in the US Marine Corps. Basically doing “Good Morning Camp Pendleton” that included weekly radio shows and a nightly TV news feature. Something a little like Robin Williams, and probably more little than like. Hey it was the Marine Corps for heaven sakes. These are the same guys who believe that 4 marines against a company of any other soldiers is not a fair fight (for the other guys). So their sense of humor can be a little measured, if you get me here?

The people I have met along the journey have been icing on the cake as they say. Radio legends like Wolfman Jack, Charlie Tuna, Chuck Blore, Bill Weaver, Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt (I don’t care what Trump says about him, it only shows how much more he has to learn) and Art Astor to name a few.

It continues to be a great ride and especially since returning to the microphone after being away from it for about 30 years. In some ways, I’m working harder than ever, but go figure, I’m also having the most fun.
