Shasta Darlington is an international correspondent for CNN based in Sao Paulo.

Darlington opened CNN’s Brazil bureau in 2011 and has since covered the 2014 World Cup and the massive protests leading up to the global sporting event.

Darlington is a journalist with 20 years of experience throughout Latin America and Europe, more recently covering the death of Hugo Chavez and the election of the first Latin American pope.
