Eliana Yael Johnson (born c. 1984) is an American conservative writer who has worked for National Review magazine. In August 2014, she was promoted from media editor to the position of Washington Editor for National Review. Her predecessor, Robert Costa, had left to join the for The Washington Post in November 2013. She had previously worked as a producer at Fox News on Sean Hannity’s television program Hannity and as a staff reporter at The New York Sun.
Johnson, a native of Twin Cities area of Minnesota, graduated from Yale University in 2006 with a degree in history. She is the daughter of Scott W. Johnson, one of the three Dartmouth lawyers who founded Power Line, an American political blog publication.
