PERSON: Michael Fallon

Michael T. Fallon, DVM, PhD, is the VA’s chief veterinary medical officer. Fallon, who has been with VA since 1989 and in his current post since 1998, has spearheaded the development of Web-based animal-research training for VA staff and members of institutional animal care and use committees (IACUCs), which are required by federal law at any site with animal research.
