Katarzyna “Kasia” Madera (born 4 November 1970) is a British journalist and television news presenter. She fronts evening and overnight bulletins on the BBC News and BBC World News, presenting the Newsday strand Thursday-Friday from London with Rico Hizon or Sharanjit Leyl in Singapore, World News Today on Fridays-Sunday and Reporters (BBC News programme), a weekly showcase of reports from the BBC. In 2013 she became one of the main relief presenters of World News Today broadcast on both BBC Four and BBC World News, and then its deputy presenter following the departure of Zeinab Badawi.
