Emma Mitts (June 12, 1955 in Elaine, Arkansas) is alderman of the 37th ward of the City of Chicago, and area which includes parts of Austin and Garfield Park. She has represented the ward since 2000. Alderman of the 37th Ward in Chicago. In 2015, she made anti-gay remarks in a public forum which she later apologized for.
