PERSON: Blake Neff

Blake Neff is an American writer and former television script writer. He grew up in South Dakota and attended Dartmouth College, graduating around 2013 with majors in history and government.

After college, Neff began working in journalism. He first held a fellowship through the Collegiate Network, then wrote for The Hill in Washington D.C. and later for The Daily Caller, a conservative-leaning digital news outlet co-founded by Tucker Carlson.

In late 2016, Neff was brought on to write for Carlson’s primetime show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, on Fox News. He became one of the show’s top writers, reportedly responsible for writing the first drafts of much of Carlson’s monologues.

In July 2020, Neff resigned after a report revealed that under a pseudonym he had posted racist, sexist, and homophobic remarks on an online forum. The commentary included derogatory statements about Black and Asian people, women, and members of the LGBTQ community. Fox News publicly condemned the behavior and accepted his resignation.

After leaving Fox, Neff largely stepped back from mainstream media spotlight. More recently, he has been identified as a producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, which is connected to Turning Point USA (TPUSA), and has been involved as of 2025 in public statements and controversies tied to that role.
