Biography
John C. Bussey is associate editor of the Wall Street Journal and runs live journalism events for the paper. He has served in a number of other roles at the Journal, including columnist on global business trends, Washington bureau chief, deputy managing editor, editor in chief for Asia, foreign editor, economics editor, Tokyo bureau chief, features editor, and reporter in several Midwest bureaus.
Bussey contributed a first-person account to a Pulitzer Prize–winning package of articles on the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. His staff has won three Pulitzer Prizes and six Overseas Press Club Awards for international coverage. Bussey is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
