MacKenzie joined the KHQA team in September 2022. She recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in photography. MacKenzie worked as an anchor, reporter, and social media manager for her university’s news station.

In her spare time, MacKenzie enjoys making crafts, photographing the world around her, traveling, and spending time with her family. She recently spent a summer traveling abroad to four countries with her younger sister, as well as exploring all of Ireland.
