Biography
Kailey Leinz is the Washington-based co-anchor of “Bloomberg Crypto” and a correspondent for Bloomberg TV and Radio, contributing daily to “Balance of Power” and “Sound On” with a primary focus on financial regulation and the intersection of policy and markets. Leinz has interviewed high-profile newsmakers, including lawmakers, diplomats, central bankers and industry-leading CEOs.
Leinz began her career at Bloomberg’s New York headquarters in 2017 and relocated to Washington in early 2023. She previously co-anchored “Bloomberg Surveillance: Early Edition” and “Bloomberg Green,” and served as a markets reporter covering major macro events.
Leinz graduated with Honors from the University of Virginia. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and awarded the Bernard Mayes Award for Leadership and Service in Media.
