Dave Salvant is the Co-Founder and President of Squire, Inc., a venture-backed start-up addressing the needs of barbershops. Squire provides software for CRM, booking management, analytics, and point-of-sale systems. It has offices in San Francisco and New York City, and maintains operations in 28 major U.S. cities. In addition, Squire offers its platform to more than 400,000 barbershops and men’s salons in the U.S. and Canada, and since its inception, there have been $100 million in transactions processed through the app.

Last year, Salvant, raised $8 million in venture capital to recruit new product and engineering talent, expand Squire’s market presence, and pour more investment into research and development. Before launching Squire, he worked at AXA, assisting in the launch and sales strategy of various financial products that have now amassed over $9 billion in sales.

Salvant was a consortium fellow at the University of Wisconsin business school and is a graduate of the University at Albany.
