Info

Broadcast live at 3:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, the program continues coverage of stories followed during prior hours of Fox News programs. The show often takes a swifter pace compared to the network’s other programming, making a larger focus of the program on breaking-news events with live correspondents. The coverage includes correspondents on location, in studio, in addition to analysis from pundits or experts. Harris Faulkner fills in on days when Smith is absent.

Prior to the program’s relaunch on April 23, 2007, and to a larger extent summer 2007, Studio B was commonly seen as more laid-back, including a short segment of smalltalk after the bottom-of-the-hour headlines between Smith and Jane Skinner commonly about soft news or irrelevant stories of the day. The segment was known as “Skinnerville.”
