Biography
Jessie Pocock is the executive director and CEO of Inside Out Youth Services, an LGBTQIA2+ Youth-serving nonprofit based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jessie is charged with mobilizing Resources, people, community, policy, and strategy in service of Inside Out’s mission, to build access, equity, and power with LGBTQIA2+ young people.
Pocock, who was born in Colorado Springs, earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Colorado College and a master’s in public administration from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Colorado College in 2022.
She currently serves as a Commissioner on the Colorado State Suicide Prevention Commission, and serves on the advisory council for Colorado’s Behavioral Health Administration.
Prior to her work at IOYS, she worked as a grassroots organizer with One Colorado advancing
Statewide LGBTQIA2+ inclusive policies, and was executive director of the LEAD Foundation.
