Biography
Courtney joins us with extensive experience in election law. Her practice also focuses on political and defamation law. Prior to joining the Binnall Law Group, Courtney was the Executive Director of the nationwide election integrity nonprofit, True the Vote where she oversaw the administration and strategic planning of the 2020 election investigations and ballot harvesting operations.
Courtney has held positions with the Office of the White House Counsel, the American Center for Law and Justice, and President Trump’s post-election legal team. During her time in these roles, she defended the First Amendment, fought for religious freedom around the world, and remained active in the Georgia Republican Party.
Courtney is a graduate of Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, Courtney was the recipient of the Restoring Religious Freedom Project award, served as Special Contents Editor for Emory’s International Law Review, and had the honor to work for the United Nations in the Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate program.
Since graduating, Courtney has been published numerous times and James Magazine has recognized her as one of the most influential attorneys of 2021 and 2022 – the youngest to receive the title.
Prior to Courtney’s legal career, she attended Georgia College & State University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. When not in the office you can catch Courtney golfing, wakeboarding, or cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
Courtney passed the Georgia Bar in December 2020 and is also licensed to practice in the GA Court of Appeals and federal court in the Northern District of GA.
