CEO & General Manager

Ryan was named the CEO of Youth Tennis San Diego and General Manager of the Barnes Tennis Center on May 1, 2020. Ryan, along with many of the other Redondo family members has dedicated his life and career in growing the sport of tennis in all facets of the industry. Ryan was the Head Men’s Tennis Coach and Director of Tennis at the University of the Pacific from 2010 to 2019. While at Pacific, Ryan earned Coach of the Year Awards on three occasions (ITA Northwest Region, West Coast Conference, and Big West Conference) along with many USTA and ITA Community Service Awards. Ryan was instrumental in bringing two USTA Pro Circuit Events to the city of Stockton, the $100,000 ATP Stockton Men’s Challenger and the $60,000 USTA/ITF Women’s Challenger, along with the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, and numerous USTA NorCal tournaments.

Additionally, Ryan worked with the USTA from 2010-13 with a Target Market Initiative to bring tennis into all the schools providing equipment, training for the PE teachers, and lining the blacktops with 10U lines.

Ryan graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Religious Studies.
