PERSON: The Bennett Hall Band
Biography
[TBHB] Three sisters, Kat, Presley and Josie Hope Hall. The band is named after their brother, Bennett, who passed away in 2010.
At the age of six, Kat(14) chose to take a voice class over a dance class. At fifteen months younger, Presley Rose(13) followed in her sister’s footsteps. She took to the keys in such a way that it wasn’t long before it was discovered that her pitch was perfect. Harmonies quickly followed and the pair were singing live duets at ages seven and eight. That began the musical journey of what would eventually be The Bennett Hall Band. At age nine, Kat picked up the guitar so she could begin songwriting and accompanying herself. Four months after her first lesson, she played it on stage for a live audience. The trio has been unstoppable since, playing all over Middle TN on stages such as The Station Inn, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Room, The Johnny Cash Hideaway Farm, Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor, Puckett’s, Hop Springs, The Franklin Main Street Festival and The Broken Wheel Festival. The youngest of the Hall sisters, Josie Hope (9), plays drums, ukelele, tambourine, and killer solo and sibling harmony. With experience under their belt and the ability to accompany themselves on guitar, keys, bass, drums and ukelele, TBHB is taking on the Nashville music scene by storm. You can find TBHB live on Broadway at Mellow Mushroom, entertaining locals and tourists alike while charming the crowds with their dimpled smiles and tight harmonies.
