PERSON: Nada Bashir

Nada Bashir is an on-air Reporter for CNN International, based at the network’s EMEA headquarters in London. Since joining CNN, Nada has produced impactful, multi-platform reporting from countries including in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, in addition to her continued reporting from the U.K.. She is trained and experienced in working in hostile environments and is conversant in Arabic.

Prior to joining CNN, Nada graduated from University College London with a bachelors degree in Politics and East European Studies, focusing her research on Russia’s foreign policy in the Middle East. She then went on to receive a masters degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
